Every one of these accounting systems is different. It's customizable. So, when we integrate with them, we integrate with them at a database level, and that's a big important requirement and something that we do that, frankly, most of the industry doesn't do. Our integration is special in that clients make the decision when to use the data. We don't overwrite your data. We allow you as the user, the property manager, or the leasing team to decide what leases you want to import and when to import them.

It's your choice how and when it is brought into your budget. Our Rent Roll Reconciliation solution is unique in in the industry, and it brings a lot a lot of value. When you're in a budget or a reforecast, you'll have new leases from the accounting system. And the Rent Roll Reconciliation, allows you to bounce the two off each other, compare my budget or reforecast to what's in my accounting system, and then I get to choose which new data I want to import.

It's on my schedule. If there are things that I know are in process that may differ with the accounting system, I don't bother to import that data. And that's a critical difference because most accounting systems, if it's in there, you're getting that change. And sometimes you need to disagree with your accounting system. Recovery calculations that are bane of most users' existence and what we do with our budgeting package is make it a lot easier. We've got a lot of expedites in the product for building recovery pools.

It's not just the competency or the level of degree of calculation. We can handle things from regional malls down to simple industrial. We can handle things, spreading things across various buildings in our budgeting platform. We just do a lot of the hard work, but we make it feel easy because we've got these expedites. We make something that's intrinsically a little difficult very easy. In BUDGET, we have your full chart of accounts from your accounting system and that allows you to budget at the level that makes sense for you that you need and require for your corporate reporting.

It also allows us to have reports that are complete matched to your accounting system so that you can tie back between your reforecast that you did in budget to your accounting system with the budget that you've imported from our system. We think that's a really important component to doing a proper corporate budget as well as a building budget. Variant analysis is really important to the budgeting process. So, you've got a budget. It's your goals. What happens when you look at the actuals and they differ?

Would you put in the notes for that? And it's not just about identifying variance. It's about comparing various versions of budgets and reforecast. We let you compare up to five separate budgets simultaneously against each other. So, a ton of flexibility. Portfolios are ways of classifying buildings. There could be an infinite number of these. Could be by region, by property manager, by asset manager, funds. They're a way of categorizing individual properties and giving them a bulk name so you can report across them.

We have clients who will create multiple kinds of reports. We have clients who have engineering reports, so a specifically designed financial report for their engineers to look at the things they've budgeted. And those reports will be run then against portfolios that make sense for those engineers, whether it's a market level or individual engineers or for the specific property managers who manage the properties that they're budgeting. The reports in the portfolios work hand in hand, and they're very powerful. Our financial report writer is unique in our vertical.

We have the ability of letting you describe your cash flow any way you'd like it. And it doesn't have to be one view of a cash flow. So again, if I'm an accountant, I might want a really detailed cash flow statement, getting down to the detailed sub lines of accounts. So really, really the nitty gritty. If I'm the CFO, I can't play down there. This is way too much information for me. I'm going to choose to run formulations, get a much higher-level view.

I might look at four-line items. Maybe it's total revenue, total expenses, NOI, and cash flow. That's all I need. And our reporting with our custom financial report writer makes that an easy thing to come up with. We understand your accounting system. We look at understand your chart of accounts. We're going to provide you with custom reports and formulations that speak at your chart in your language. So that's just part of the if you don't have that integration, there's too much work.

There's too much handwork off the side work, spreadsheets, and that's just intolerable in this day and age. You've got to be able to do everything in the product, and it's got to reflect your accounting settings and choices.
