We’ve always stood behind the idea that transactions are just transactions, but quality relationships are what last for decades. That's what we're looking for in our clients, and so we conduct our business accordingly. Rockport’s simplistic view is that people do not listen to what you say, they listen to what you do. From our perspective, maintaining integrity above all makes that easy.
We take a genuine interest in our client’s success because we know that if our clients are successful, we’ll be successful.

Rick taught me that from the very beginning, which is, transactions are just transactions but quality relationships, are what last for the decades, and that's what we're looking for in our clients, so, we know we have to treat them as such. I think it is also something that when we go to clients and we say "We can do this; we can help you. " We stand behind that, and I think that is a differentiator. Working at other organizations where it is really focused on just the short-term goal, not the "how do we keep our word and how do we continue to provide that?" My simplistic view is, people do not listen to what you say, they listen to what you do, and their integrity makes that easy.
One of those values that I think sums it up nicely, is that we'll be reliable, caring, thorough, and responsive to our clients' needs, with a genuine interest in their success. Because we know that if our clients are successful, then we're going to be successful.
