Rockport VAL, LLC has an opening for a Senior Software Development Team Lead in New York, New York.
Guide a team of software developers in design, coding and testing of a web-based SaaS application for the commercial real estate industry. Utilize technical expertise to enable and empower a small team of software developers. Maintain high standards and establish good practices and habits. Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team Plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using latest technologies. Prepare estimates and work plans as needed. Hire and train new developers. Communicate and coordinate work with the operations team. Provide third-level support to business users. Cross-Collaborate with other product teams within the Company. Research and understand new software technology. 100% remote (may work from home).
Requirements
Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and at least seven years of progressive experience in software development. Must also possess at least 3 years of experience with C++ or C# programming language; at least 2 years in a technical leadership position; at least 2 years of experience in CRE financial service industry; at least 2 years of experience with source control systems (GIT, Bitbucket), CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins); and at least 2 years of experience in application security using Veracode.
Benefits
The salary range for this position is $140,000 to $150,000.
