Rockport VAL partners with universities across the country to prepare future CRE professionals in becoming proficient in VAL. The Rockport VAL University program includes complimentary access to Rockport VAL, Training, Step by Step Certification Manual, and Certification exam. Our team will partner with professors to incorporate VAL in the college curriculum and prepare their students for success in the industry. Rockport VAL Certification Training – Part 1

Interactive training course modeling an Office & Retail property type designed for new to intermediate users of VAL. This course covers creating a model from scratch and modeling income, expenses, rent roll, and the calculations involved. 

Sessions run twice a month on Tuesdays from 12:00 to 2:00 PM EST.

Rockport VAL Certification Training – Part 2

Interactive session designed for those who have taken the VAL Certification Training - Part 1. This course covers complex recoveries, valuations, and sensitivity analysis. It also prepares the student to take the Rockport VAL Certification Exam.

Sessions run twice a month on Wednesdays from 12:00 to 2:00 PM EST.

This interactive session discusses the structure of the Rockport VAL Certification exam, what to expect, and how to best prepare for the exam. It goes through a list of topics to be familiar with for the exam and includes a Q&A session.
